Warrior police sergeant on leave after domestic violence arrest

JEFFERSON COUNTY, Ala. (WBRC) - A Warrior police sergeant is on administrative leave following a domestic violence arrest, the Warrior police chief confirmed.

According to Jefferson County Jail records, Ricky Pridmore, 36, was charged with domestic violence-harassment on Friday. He posted bond the same day.

Court records allege he threatened to snap a woman’s neck.

Warrior Police Chief Scott Praytor told WBRC that he requested the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office lead an “impartial criminal and internal investigation.” The sheriff’s office agreed to do so.
