BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (WBRC) - As completion of the new Coca-Cola Amphitheater in Birmingham draws closer, the venue’s debut summer season continues to fill out.

Country music artist Hardy announced his “Jim Bob World Tour” will stop in Birmingham on Friday, Sept. 12 for a show at the city’s newest venue.

Hardy, an accomplished song-writer, received his first Country Music Association (CMA) nomination in 2019 for his work on Blake Shelton’s “God’s Country.”

His debut album “A Rock” was released in 2020 and peaked at No. 4 on Billboard’s US Top Country Albums before being certified gold.

The Academy of Country Music named him the 2022 Songwriter of the Year, marking his first ACM Award. After the release of his second album, “The Mockingbird & The Crow,” Hardy won three awards, including two for the album’s lead single, “Wait In The Truck.”

Now, fresh off 2024’s “Quit!” album and his debut live album, “Live from Red Rocks,” Hardy is making 36 stops on his “Jim Bob World Tour,” capped off with a performance at Madison Square Garden in New York.

He will be joined in Birmingham by Stephen Wilson, Jr. and Sikarus.

VIP packages will be available and include Meet & Greets, signed show posters, dedicated VIP entrance, and more.

Tickets go on sale Friday, Feb. 14 at 10 a.m. at Livenation.com.
