Born and raised in Las Vegas, NV, Jayce Bertrand is a 2026 Journalism & Mass Communication graduate of the University of Iowa. Before taking on a full-time position with Alaska's News Source in the summer of 2026, Jayce completed a 2025 summer internship at KTUU and also served as a Multimedia Journalist and Producer for The Daily Iowan while in school, covering breaking news, crime, politics, human interest stories and the environment.
