First Alert Weather: Beautiful Saturday and Sunday ahead, chance for showers returns next weekend
BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (WBRC) - We’ve got some more incredible fall weather on the way for the weekend!

Temperatures are tumbling quickly again this evening, with low to mid 50s already for some areas. Be ready for lows back in the 40s Saturday morning. After the cold start, temperatures will surge into the mid-70s.

Highs will back off a few degrees Saturday thanks to an easterly breeze. If you’re planning to be in the stands at Talladega, or the Alabama or Auburn games, don’t forget the sunscreen and hat. More chilly evenings ahead, with cold mornings in the 40s. Plan for a repeat Sunday, with highs back in the 70s.
NEXT WEEK: The dry pattern and growing drought concerns will linger through most of next week. Other than a few clouds mixing in at times, the temperature pattern remains the same, with lows in the 40s and highs in the mid to upper 70s. We’re still watching Halloween weekend for our next chance of showers. Halloween still looks mainly dry, with highs near 78 and a chance for a few showers late. The chance for showers increases Nov. 1 and Nov. 2. And a reminder, we “fall back” next weekend. Daylight Saving Time ends Nov. 1.
