MINNEAPOLIS, Minn. (WBRC) - In just his third start since turning pro, former Auburn golf phenom Jackson Koivun has won on the PGA TOUR.
Koivun fired a final round 5-under 66 Sunday, holding off world #1 Scottie Scheffler en route to the win.
Sunday’s win for the 21-year-old, who turned pro just 35 days ago, comes on the heels of a prolific career at Auburn where he helped lead the Tigers to two national championships in three years and set multiple NCAA and Auburn records during his time on the plains.
Koivun, the former world amateur #1, is now qualified for the 2027 Masters and PGA Championship.
