DISH drops WBRC from its service
BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (WBRC) - DISH Network customers lost access to WBRC on Tuesday, March 10, after a renewal agreement was not reached. This means DISH customers no longer have access to WBRC’s breaking news and First Alert Weather coverage, and also FOX programming such as The Simpsons, Family Guy and MasterChef.
If you’re a DISH customer, you can still let them know you want WBRC and the shows and news you love returned to their lineup by contacting them at 800-333-3474.
DISH has often disrupted access to local television stations in recent years, but viewers have options through other services.
The best way to watch WBRC’s local news and weather coverage, however, is through the FREE WBRC 6 News app, available on Roku, Apple TV and Amazon Fire TV. Just search WBRC in your apps store.

Other options to watch WBRC’s programming include watching for free using an antenna or DIRECTV, your local cable company, YouTube TV, Hulu Live, and Fubo.
