Birmingham Stallions kicker signed by Los Angeles Rams
BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (WBRC) - Birmingham Stallions Kicker Harrison Mevis is headed back to the NFL.
Mevis spent the 2025 season with the Stallions where he converted 95.2% of his field goals, going 20/21 on the season.
The Rams announced Wednesday that Mevis had been signed to the team’s practice squad.
Mevis was signed by the New York Jets over the summer and competed in training camp before he was waived on final roster cut down day in August. The Jets signed him to the practice squad before releasing him in September.
Mevis also spent time with the Carolina Panthers in 2024.

Mevis is the second former Stallions kicker to now be in the NFL.
Former Stallion Brandon Aubrey spent two years in the Magic City (2022, 2023) before he was signed by the Dallas Cowboys where he has become one of the best kickers in the league.
