CENTREVILLE, Ala. (WBRC) - A woman has been fired from her job with the City of Centreville Water Sewer Board after being accused of stealing from the company.
Court records say Rebecca Abercrombie is charged with theft of property.
Prosecutors say Abercrombie stole $21,000 from the water board between June 2025 and October 2025.
An attorney for the city of Centreville says Abercrombie was fired last week following the allegations.
WBRC is working to obtain a mugshot of Abercrombie from the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office.
