3 injured in Saturday Enterprise shooting

ENTERPRISE, Ala. (WSFA) - Enterprise police are investigating a shooting that injured three people Saturday night.

Shortly before 10 p.m., police officers responded to the 1800 block of County Road 721 after receiving a call of a shots fired incident.

When officers arrived at the home, they found one person with unspecified injuries from an assault and a second person suffering from a gunshot wound.

Police said they later learned of a third gunshot victim who had driven to an area hospital for treatment.

According to Enterprise PD, the incident stemmed from several fights that had broken out at the residence leading to shots being fired.

The Enterprise Police Department Criminal Investigation Division is handling handling the investigation and asks anyone with information to contact them at 334-347-2222.
