Street-style cookie shop brings hip-Hop Culture to Hoover
New in the Neighborhood
HOOVER, Ala. (WBRC) - Cookie Plug, a California-born confectionery concept inspired by graffiti and street art, has expanded from its Anaheim roots to locations across the United States, including a spot in Hoover.
The shop launched three years ago with a mission to merge artisanal cookies with hip-hop culture, creating an aesthetic unlike traditional dessert destinations. Each offering reflects this ethos through street-inspired branding and creative flavor combinations.

Menu & Sizing
Cookie Plug offers three sizes: the “Fatty,” an oversized indulgence; the “Smash,” a medium option; and the “Popper,” a bite-sized treat.
Signature flavors include the “OG” (chocolate chip), “Pink Elephant” (strawberry cheesecake), “Purple Haze” (red velvet variation) and the “Nutty Wap” (apple pie with nuts).
The shop’s specialty beverages are particularly popular. The “Purple Drank” can be ordered in a traditional cup or served in a baby bottle, adding to the novelty of the experience.
