Bibb County authorities address child sex abuse case in news conference

BIBB COUNTY, Ala. (WBRC) - Authorities in Bibb County held a news conference regarding a child sex abuse investigation involving six children allegedly taken to an underground bunker in Brent.

The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office launched the investigation on Feb. 4, 2025, following the initial concerns.

According to Assistant District Attorney Bryan Jones, the children were reportedly drugged and brought to a storm shelter used as a bunker, where the abuse took place.

Seven people have been arrested in connection with the case, including William Chase McElroy, Dalton Terrell, Andres Trejo-Velazquez, Timothy St. John, Sara Louise Terrell, Ricky Cecil Terrell, and Rebecca Cecile Brewer.
