Uncle Charlie’s R&B Cookout to bring multiple artists to Coca-Cola Amphitheater

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (WBRC) - R&B icon Charlie Wilson is cooking up the ultimate soul celebration, Uncle Charlie’s R&B Cookout Tour, which is set to bring several artists to Birmingham this October.

Joined by Babyface, K-Ci Hailey and El DeBarge, Wilson’s tour kicks off on August 27, with a special stop in Birmingham on October 10.

“I’ve been performing for so long that my audience isn’t just made up of fans, it really has become a family. Over the years, I’ve come to recognize so many faces, and we’ve grown together through the music. The R&B cookout is gonna be one big family reunion for us and our fans,” Wilson said.

In addition to R&B classics, the tour promises to bring community together to connect in an atmosphere where fans are more than fans, they’re family.
