Greyhound racing to end at Birmingham Race Course

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (WBRC) - When the Birmingham Race Course resumes operation, greyhound racing will not be included. This is according to Kip Keefer with the Birmingham Racing Commission.
During the shutdown, owners determined that business levels did not justify continuing the operation.
Simulcasting and historic racing will be featured moving forward.
