Orange Beach Police say they’ve doubled staffing for spring break enforcement
ORANGE BEACH, Ala. (WALA) - The Orange Beach Police Department says in a post on its Facebook page that it has doubled staffing to ensure safety during spring break.
Here is the post:
Orange Beach Police Department
Welcome Spring Breakers!
We are thrilled to welcome our local Baldwin and Mobile County students and their families to beautiful Orange Beach for Spring Break! We are so grateful you chose to spend your time with us.
To ensure everyone has the opportunity to safely enjoy our beautiful beaches and amenities, we want to remind everyone that we are maintaining and strictly enforcing a ZERO TOLERANCE policy for:
Underage drinking
Drug use
Disorderly conduct
To make sure we can effectively do this, we have doubled our staffing and are coordinating closely with Alabama State Parks to prevent any issues on the beaches before they happen.
Our priority is doing everything in our power to make sure you have a safe, fun, and memorable time. Let’s work together to keep our beaches beautiful and family-friendly!
