Centreville issuing boil water notice
CENTREVILLE, Ala. (WBRC) - The city of Centreville is issuing a boil water notice today, Nov. 30.
The Centreville City Hall shared the notice around 10 a.m. on Sunday, saying that due to a loss of chlorine disinfection in the water system, the precautionary boil water notice was being issued for all customers.
“This means you should boil any water used for drinking, cooking or brushing teeth for at least one minute,” said the city.
Centreville City Hall says they are working to restore normal disinfection levels as quickly as possible and when tell residents when the water is safe to drink without boiling.
