7 charged in connection to heinous sexual abuse case in Bibb County

BIBB COUNTY, Ala. (WBRC) - Seven suspects have been charged in connection to the heinous sexual abuse case out of Bibb County.

The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office launched an investigation on Feb. 4, 2025 following concerns regarding the sexual abuse of six children and animals in an underground bunker located in Brent, Alabama.

In addition to the four men who were previously arrested in connection to the case, Bibb County Sheriff Jody Wade identified three more suspects during a Wednesday news conference as Sara Louise Terrell, Ricky Cecil Terrell and Rebecca Cecile Brewer.

Court documents show Sara Terrell is charged with sexual torture/abuse, and sexual abuse of a child less than 12-years-old. Ricky Terrell is charged with first-degree rape. Brewer is charged with eight counts of first-degree human trafficking, eight counts of first-degree kidnapping, and three counts of sexual torture.

Wade said the suspects who were trafficking the children could make up to $1,000 per night.

Police believe there will be more victims and suspects.

Wade said he believes the abuse began in 2022.

“I know God’s forgiveness is boundless, but if there is a limit, we reached it,” said Wade.
