Police get call about shell shortage at Taco Bell on eve of ‘Taco Tuesday’

SLIDELL, La. (WVUE) - Slidell police have a message for anyone craving Taco Tuesday: Don’t call us.
Slidell police said they received a call on Monday in another “we can’t make this stuff up” story.
The caller complained that Taco Bell had run out of both hard and soft taco shells.
“While this is truly a travesty, the police can’t do anything about this,” the police department said on its Facebook page.
Police did not say if the caller was cited.
