TAMPA, Fla. (WBRC) - For the third time in three years, there will be a new quarterback under center for the Alabama Crimson Tide.

2024 was Jalen Milroe, 2025 was Ty Simpson, and 2026 has not been determined yet as Keelon Russell and Austin Mack battle for the starting job.

For one Alabama playmaker, it will also be the third season in a row that he will have a new quarterback throwing him the ball... wide receiver Ryan Coleman-Williams.

Coleman-Williams broke out on the scene with a major bang in his freshman season in 2024 before taking a slight step back last season.

During his availability at SEC Media Days Wednesday, Coleman-Williams said he is just trying to be consistent.

“My main focus is trying to be a consistent guy day in and day out. With the work that I put in, the results will show for themselves.”

When asked if he has a similar bond as a dynamic duo with the 2026 quarterback room like he did with Milroe, Coleman-Williams said “definitely.”

“With this being my third year and having a different quarterback every year, it’s a growth opportunity.”

Coleman-Williams went on to say that maximizing his time with the quarterback room now will help prepare for this season.
