Baby graduates after 160 days in Baptist Health Brookwood Hospital NICU

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (WBRC) - A baby girl got her very own graduation ceremony after spending more than five months in the Baptist Health Brookwood Hospital NICU.

Khalil was born on Dec. 28, 2024, at just 23 weeks. She was discharged to go home on June 6, 2025.

To celebrate Khalil going home, the NICU team held a graduation ceremony complete with a tiny graduation cap!
