2 brothers drown at Logan Martin Lake

TALLADEGA COUNTY, Ala. (WBRC) - The Talladega County Sheriff says two brothers drowned Sunday at Logan Martin Lake.

Sheriff Jimmy Kilgore says one of the victims was trying to swim out to some water ski equipment and got distressed and drowned. The other victim swam out and tried to help, but also got distressed and drowned.

The Talladega County Coroner’s Office confirmed one of the victims was 19 years old. We are working to confirm the age of the second victim.

The names of the victims have not been released at this time.
