HOOVER, AL (WBRC) - Several officers responded to reports of early morning Black Friday fights at the Riverchase Galleria.

No arrests were made, but Hoover police say that an undetermined amount of people were detained pending warrants.

At least 10-15 Hoover police officers responded.

One fight, which occurred near the mall's Buckle locationb was not related to Black Friday sales, according to a news release from the Hoover Police Department.

Responding officers separated two juvenile females as a group of bystanders watched. Police say the altercation stemmed from a personal issue. Both girls were treated for minor injuries and no arrests were made. Footage of the fight made its way to social media and can be seen below.

An hour prior to the fight, officers responded to a call of shots fired outside of the mall near the Macy's parking lot. Police say there was no evidence of gunfire.

The mall had to close about a half an hour early.

The incident didn't appear to effect crowds Friday. The parking lot was full and shoppers filled the mall.

Riverchase Galleria General Manager Mike White says Hoover police work closely with their security team.

"We have a lot of people here year-round, but during the holidays with so many shoppers, we have a lot of security augmentation. So we're well staffed, and not any more staffed today because of an isolated fight last night," White says.

Extra officers will continue to patrol the mall during the holiday season.
