SHELBY COUNTY, AL (WBRC) - The Shelby County man charged in the December 2016 murder of Constance Woolweaver in the gated Highland Lakes community appeared briefly in court Monday.
Adam Michael Burrus left the courthouse after his preliminary hearing was rescheduled to October 4th.
Burris, who is currently out of jail on bond, was described as a friend of Woolweaver and engaged in a business relationship with her.
Authorities said Burrus fatally shot Woolweaver at her home in the 100 block of Sheffield Way on Dec. 14.
She was the mother of two children.
