TUSCALOOSA COUNTY, AL (WBRC) - Tuscaloosa County Metro Homicide Unit confirms a woman's body was found on Monday.

The woman has been identified as 23-year-old Jennifer Raven Nevin.

Nevin was found just before noon by a person checking a gas well off Watermelon Road and Phelps Road.

Police say foul play is suspected.

Koran Rashad Lewis, a 23-year-old black male, Kendrick Ky'Andre Marshall, a 16-year-old black male, and Vida Milagros Confetti, a 20-year-old Hispanic female have all been arrested in connection to the killing of Nevin. All three are being charged with murder, according to police.

New information reveals what investigators believe led to Nevin's murder.

Court documents filed against Lewis, Marshall and Confetti indicate Nevin was killed because one of them thought she was setting them up to be robbed.

Nevin was last seen alive leaving a party in Cottondale with the three suspects.

Marshall and Confetti admitted to shooting Nevin during questioning by homicide investigators. Confetti admitted to beating Nevin before she was shot. Lewis said he drove to the dirt road where Nevin's body was found off Watermelon Road and his gun was used.

Lewis and Marshall are being held on $150,000 bond each. Confetti is being held on $100,000 bond.
