BRIGHTON, AL (WBRC) - Two men have been arrested in the drive-by shooting death of a teenager in Brighton last weekend.

Deandre Moore and Hendarius Jones are in the Jefferson County jail facing capital murder charges in the death of 18-year-old Tyshun Miller.

Miller was shot and killed Saturday, March 18 around 6:30 p.m. in the 1400 block of Clay Street. He was later pronounced dead after being transported to UAB Hospital.

Another suspect, 23-year-old, Kelvin Edwards is also facing capital murder charges in the case.

Miller pushed a friend to the ground and yelled "Get down!" before being shot, according to his mother, Delvina Miller.

"He would do anything to help anybody," she said. "The violence needs to stop. This black-on-black crime needs to stop. It just don't make sense. These are young kids. They haven't even begun their life yet and their lives are getting taken for no reason at all."

All three suspects have no bond.
