4th suspect charged with murder of Hoover veteran moved to JeffCo Jail

HOOVER, AL (WBRC) - A fourth suspect charged with murder in the death of Hoover war veteran Mike Gilotti has been moved to the Jefferson County Jail.
Gilotti, a married father of two, died after being shot in front of his Hoover home while he was on his way to go work out at the gym just before 5 a.m. on Jan. 5.
De'Ron Keith Lucas, 20, of McCalla, is one of four people charged with murder in the case.
Lucas has been in custody of the Tuscaloosa County Jail since Jan. 7, facing several felony charges related to car break-ins and the theft of the truck that was later used during the Hoover crimes.
Lucas was moved from the Tuscaloosa County Jail to the Jefferson County Jail on Tuesday, Sept. 13. His preliminary hearing is scheduled for Sept. 29.
Three other suspects, Charleston Wells, Ahmad Johnson and Darrian D. Bryant, are also charged with murder in the case. They are each being charged as adults.
