Sheriff: Cherokee Co. couple found dead; suspect, possible kidnap victim sought

CHEROKEE COUNTY, AL (WBRC) - Deputies in Cherokee County are conducting a homicide investigation after a man and woman were found dead on Sunday.
David and Letitia Andrews, both 48, were discovered in the 9000 block of County Road 19 in the Aliceville/Tenala area.
Sheriff Jeff Shaver says the suspect, 30-year-old Jeffrey Wilcox Jr., is still at large. He is believed to be the woman's son-in-law and the man's stepson-in-law.
Deputies say Wilcox was last known driving a red 2011 Chevrolet Silverado with a Calhoun County license plate No. 11FR476.
Investigators also believe the suspect's wife is with him and that she is at risk.
US Marshals and deputies from Calhoun and Etowah counties are assisting in the investigation.
