Deputies arrest 3 at Walker Co. home; 3 others still at large

WALKER COUNTY, AL (WBRC) - Deputies in Walker County arrested three people at a home located across from the Harmony Baptist Church on Highway 195.

Investigators had been getting complaints from the community about the residence. Authorities arrested Jacob Larry Burnett, 36, Samual James Burnett, 38 and Catrina Hornsby McKim, 34, all of Jasper.

Jacob Burnett faces nine first-degree theft of property charges and charges for second and third degree theft of property.

Samual Burnett was arrested on warrants from Jasper police.

Warrants from the Winston County Sheriff's office landed Catrina McKim behind bars.

Investigators are still looking for others known to live at the residence at some point. Forty-one-year-old John Paul Burnett, of Jasper, is wanted by the following agencies:

  • Scott County Sheriff’s Office in Missouri (probation violation)
  • Corinth Police Department in Mississippi
  • Fairfield Police Department
  • Dora Police Department
  • Sumiton Police Department
  • Cullman County Sheriff’s Office
  • Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office (second degree theft property)

Deputies are also trying to locate 62-year-old Joyce Marie Burnett and 38-year-old Joshua Wayne Burnett, both of Jasper.

Joyce Burnett is wanted by the Cullman County Sheriff's Office while Joshua Burnett is wanted in Walker County for violating the Sex Offender Registration and Notification Act.
