Crews respond to 3 fires within minutes of each other in Birmingham

BIRMINGHAM, AL (WBRC) - Birmingham firefighters are investigating three fires that happened within minutes of each other early Wednesday morning.

A vacant home caught fire around 2:30 a.m. in the 3200 block of 32nd Street North, according to investigators.

The fire rekindled after crews initially put it out.

Around the same time, another vacant house on Kimberly Avenue caught fire.

Crews were also called to a third vacant home in 1500 block of 90th Street North.

No injuries were reported, and there is no word on whether the fires are connected.
