Former West Blocton reserve officer facing sex abuse charges

WEST BLOCTON, AL (WBRC) - A former reserve officer with West Blocton Police is facing sexual abuse charges, according to the Bibb County Sheriff's Office.

Craig Arnold was arrested on Friday and is charged with first degree rape, sodomy, enticing a child, child abuse, and sexual abuse of a child under 12.

He is still in the Bibb County Jail on a $750,000 bond.

Police say Arnold hasn't been a reserve officer in a handful of years.
