Birmingham PD investigating Sunday's 3rd homicide; person of interest detained

BIRMINGHAM, AL (WBRC) - One person of interest is being detained as Birmingham police investigate a homicide in 8100 block of 6th Avenue South.

This is the third homicide investigation for Birmingham police on Sunday.

Police described the victim as a black male in his early 20s. He was pronounced dead at the scene after suffering a gunshot wound..
