TALLADEGA COUNTY, AL (WBRC) - Talladega authorities are investigating a Monday night double shooting that left a stepfather and his son dead in front of their home.
Talladega Sheriff's deputies responded to a house in the 2000 block of Oakdale Road around 9 p.m. Monday to find the two victims in the driveway of a home, according to Talladega Sheriff Jimmy Kilgore.
The son, identified as Steven King, was pronounced dead on the scene. John Lowe, the stepfather, later died at a hospital.
Lowe's wife told investigators she heard a male drive up and ask for directions before the shooting, according to Kilgore.
