PELL CITY, AL (WBRC) - One Facebook post brought a community to rally around one special couple and made their special day magical.

Cindy Cody, of Moody, wanted her son's wedding to his girlfriend of 13 years to be special. She just didn't know how.

"They're handicapped and they wanted a wedding. And I had no finances to give it to them," Cody said while fighting back tears. "I just want them to live as normal a life as possible and be as happy as possible."

That's when she turned to Facebook. She wrote a status stating that her son, Daniel Creech, and his girlfriend, Belinda Dorough, were both confined to wheelchairs and she had no idea how to give them the wedding they deserved.

Her post went viral. Hundreds responded offering donations for the ceremony.

"Everything from the dresses to the venue to the food it was so amazing," Cody said.

The outpouring of support came together in the form of a wedding that will be hard to forget. As family and friends snapped photos and wiped tears from their eyes, the bride and groom were all smiles.

Daniel and Belinda both have cerebral palsy and they used a special computer that speaks their words as they type them with their eyes to exchange their vows.
