Authorities identify Bessemer shooting victim

Authorities have identified a man found shot to death in Bessemer early Sunday morning.
Gregory Paige, 39, of Dallas County was identified as the man found by police at 80 Alabama Ave. at 2 a.m., according to the Jefferson County Coroner’s Office.
He was found lying on his back in the street and was pronounced dead at the scene.
The shooting is still under investigation.
