BIRMINGHAM, AL (WBRC) - The Birmingham Police are asking for the public's help in locating a woman who was last seen on January 24, 2010.

Anita Michelle Dobbs, 46, is described as a black female with brown eyes and black hair, 5 feet 2 inches tall and 150 pounds. She was last seen wearing a blue coat and beige pants. Police list her last residence as 1242 15th Way Southwest, Birmingham.

Sgt. Johnny Williams with the BPD says the department released information about Dobbs shortly after she went missing, but they never received any information about her whereabouts. They are hoping that by releasing her photo and description again, someone might have seen her and can help generate a new lead in the case.

Anyone with information about Dobbs' whereabouts is asked to contact detectives with the Birmingham Police Department at 205-297-8413 or to call Crime Stoppers at 205-254-7777.
