Bingo case lobbyist asks to start serving jail time soon

MONTGOMERY, AL (WBRC) - Jarrod Massey's attorneys have filed a motion asking if Massey can surrender and start serving jail time and get credit for time served.

Massey is scheduled to be sentenced in September 2011.

Massey has already plead guilty to several counts of bribery.

His attorneys say their client knows he will be sentenced to prison and he's ready to start serving now.
