Birmingham police searching for suspect in overnight shooting

BIRMINGHAM, AL (WBRC) - Birmingham police have reported an overnight homicide.
29-year-old Terrez Watkins was shot and killed at an apartment complex on 18th Street in Ensley around 11:00 Tuesday night.

Police say they found Watkins in the parking lot, suffering from several gunshot wounds. He was pronounced dead on the scene by paramedics.
Police are still searching for the suspect.
