Warming stations shut down in Birmingham

BIRMINGHAM, AL (WBRC) - Warming stations across Birmingham have shut their doors.
Several stations were set up last week as temperatures dropped below freezing and the chance of snow increased. The warming stations offered a place to sleep.

Organizers call it a chance to help people in need.

More than 100 volunteers served an average of 200 people over the past week at the boutwell auditorium.
