Romario is excited to join the WAFF 48 News team as a MMJ/Reporter here in the Rocket City. He’s a graduate of the University of North Florida with a bachelor's degree in Communications.

He started his career as an Associate Producer at a local news station in Jacksonville, Florida.

During his time as an AP, he honed his decision-making and writing skills. He covered overnight breaking news both on-air and online in addition to several stories that impact the local community.

During his off days as an AP, he shadowed different reporters in the field, gaining valuable real-world experience. He also wrote original scripts and recorded packages with camera crews in the field.

On days he's not telling your stories, Romario likes to head to the movie theaters, go for a nice run, or do karaoke with friends.
