Chris Joseph

Chris joined the WAFF 48 News team in May of 2018 and loves shining a light on new places and issues the public needs to know about. He's from all over- born in the suburbs of Philly, raised in Chapel Hill, NC and graduated from the University of Missouri. He's ready for all the new adventures the Tennessee Valley has offer.

Chris comes to Huntsville with degrees in Broadcast Journalism and Political Science. He got his start on-air at KOMU 8 News, the NBC affiliate in Columbia, MO. He reported, anchored and produced in mid-Missouri for two years while enrolled at the Missouri School of Journalism. He covered both daily news and long-form investigations. He broke the story of Missouri Governor Greitens' staying the execution of a death row inmate and investigated the two-year delay on charges for a sex offender.

In summer 2017, he interned with CBS News in New York City at the national desk. He helped CBS News identify, confirm and break news across the country. Chris has the local and national experience needed to serve the Tennessee Valley community.

When he's not reporting, he likes to read, hike and check out the town. Come football season you'll find him rooting on the *Missouri* Tigers, UNC Tar Heels and his Philadelphia Eagles.
