Allie Hennard returns to WBKO as a senior reporter and fill-in anchor. She began her career at WBKO in August of 2018 as a multimedia journalist before becoming the Weekend News Anchor. Allie graduated from the University of Kentucky with a Bachelors in Broadcast Journalism.
Allie most recently served as the main anchor for AM Kentucky, WBKO's morning show. She now co-anchors three evening newscasts alongside Gene Birk.
She has covered a variety of stories ranging from the Kentucky Governor's Races to continued coverage of the COVID-19 pandemic.
When she’s not working, she enjoys watching the Kentucky Wildcats, Cincinnati Bengals, and Cincinnati Reds.

Police charged Serenity’s mother, Catherine McKinney, age 21 of Shepherdsville and her boyfriend Dakota Hill, age 26 also of Shepherdsville, with murder and abuse of a corpse.
