Man killed in Birmingham shooting identified
BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (WBRC) - Birmingham Police are investigating a homicide that happened Tuesday, Sept. 19, around 1:50 p.m.
It happened in the 4000 block of Jefferson Avenue Southwest.
Police arrived on scene and found an unresponsive man with a gunshot wound. Birmingham Fire and Rescue crews arrived and pronounced the man dead.
Authorities identified the man as 36-year-old Antonio Coleman.
Authorities say the area where his body was found is a frequent area that people hang out, and are asking witnesses to please come forward with information.
Police say no one in custody.
