Homicide investigation underway after man shot Friday evening in Ensley

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (WBRC) - The Birmingham Police Department is investigating a homicide after they say a man was shot Friday evening in Birmingham’s Ensley neighborhood.
Police were called to King’s Foods in the 1500 block of Warrior Road around 7:15 p.m. after reports of a shooting.
On arrival, police say they found a man - identified as 30-year-old Rondarius Oji Bryant of Birmingham - suffering an apparent gunshot wound.
Bryant was taken by Birmingham Fire & Rescue to an area hospital where he was pronounced dead.
Police say after a preliminary investigation, it appears Bryant was inside the store and when he exited, he was fired at by more than one suspect.
