Jacksonville, Ala. (WBRC) - Jacksonville State (10-2) will host Delaware (6-0) in the FCS Quarterfinals on Sunday. The Gamecocks, who played last fall and this spring, are coming off a dominant win over Davidson last Saturday.
Coach John Grass believes the win helped the team’s confidence heading into this week, as they are just two wins away from making it back to the FCS National Championship game for the first time since 2015.
“You know confidence with a young football team helps a lot and I think, going into this game, you’re going to deal with two very confident football teams. They have a really good team, we have a really good team, and I think it’s going to be every bit of what everyone expects it to be,” said Grass.
Delaware vs. JSU kickoff Sunday at 2pm CT.
