BESSEMER, Ala. (WBRC) - The Jefferson County Coroner said a 21-year-old man was shot during an assault at a Bessemer Park.

Deterrious Kieth-Bernerd Steele, of Birmingham, died about two hours after he was shot at Enoch Brown Park around 7:45 Sunday, April 18.

The park is in the 2800 block of Berkley Avenue.

The coroner said Steele died from multiple gunshot wounds.
