TUSCALOOSA, Ala. (WBRC) - Friday, the Tuscaloosa VA Medical Center is offering a walk-in vaccine clinic to get more veterans in the door. This is an opportunity for veterans to get the COVID-19 vaccine at their convenience.
The walk-in clinic is taking place from 8 a.m.-11:30 a.m. The clinic will be in the existing COVID-19 vaccine clinic in Building 137 Sports Atrium. If you are not currently enrolled in the VA system, you need to bring a copy of your DD-214 when you come in.
Veterans can also use vet text and text 53079, then text vaccine to schedule an appointment on their cellphone. The VA will have eligibility and enrollment staff available there to assist and get veterans signed up on site.
