Alabama Women’s Wheelchair Basketball Team wins NWBA National Championship

TUSCALOOSA, Ala. (WBRC) - The Alabama women’s wheelchair basketball team defeated UT-Arlington 67-53 to sweep the Broncos two games to zero to win the NWBA Collegiate Wheelchair Basketball National Championship Saturday afternoon.
This is Alabama’s second national title in a row and seventh overall in program history.
The Alabama women’s team previously won national championships in 2009, 2010, 2011, 2015, 2017 and 2019.
As for the men’s team, the Crimson Tide fell to UT-Arlington 66-51 in the National Championship game.
