Alabama Crimson Tide earns 2 seed in NCAA Tournament

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (WBRC) - Alabama is NCAA Tournament bound after winning with the SEC Tournament on Sunday.
The Crimson Tide matched their regular-season SEC title by defeating LSU 80-79 to win the conference tournament.
The win put the icing on the cake for the Crimson Tide to earn the 2 seed in the East region of the NCAA tournament. This is the program’s highest seed since 2002.
Alabama will face Iona, coached by Rick Pitino, Saturday in the first round in Indianapolis.
