BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (WBRC) - Governor Kay Ivey has declared Tuesday, January 19, 2021 the National Day of Racial Healing in the state of Alabama.
Ivey tweeted: “In conjunction with others throughout the U.S., I’ve proclaimed today as National Day of Racial Healing in the state of Alabama. I urge all Alabamians to promote racial healing & transformation, as a means of working together to ensure the best quality of life for every citizen.”
