FAYETTE COUNTY, Ala. (WBRC) - The Fayette County Sheriff’s Department is investigating three bomb threats that were emailed to some schools, causing the school system to cancel classes for Tuesday.
Authorities said one of the emails was sent to the superintendent Monday.
After investigating, authorities said all schools were safe and secure. Officers will be on school campuses Wednesday to make sure students, faculty and staff remain safe.
