Birmingham police investigating a double homicide; name of both victims released

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (WBRC) - Birmingham police are investigating a double homicide on 48th Place Ensley.

Police say two men were killed in the shooting early Monday morning. Officers on the scene say the two victims were found in a vehicle.

The Jefferson County Coroner’s Office has identified the victims as 48-year-old Jonathan Dee Jackson of Hueytown and 22-year-old Darnell Ogletree of Birmingham.

There has not been any information released about possible suspects.
